Our home base is in Sanford, NC and we service many of the surrounding areas. We typically will accept calls within a 30-40 minute drive from Sanford. As business permits, we hope to expand further up in to Raleigh/Durham and down in to Fayetteville as well. Think you are outside of our service area, ask us, we may very well swing by anyway.
We service a wide range of household appliances, including but not limited to: Dishwashers, Washing machines, Dryers, Ovens, Stoves, Cooktops, and Microwaves.
At present we do not service refrigerators, freezers, or icemakers.
We strive to provide prompt service to our customers. In most cases, we can schedule a repair appointment within 24-48 hours of your initial contact.
Typically, if your appliance is less than 10 years old and the repair cost is less than half the price of a new appliance, repair is usually the more economical choice. Our technicians can assess the condition of your appliance and provide expert advice tailored to your situation.
Yup, at present these are the extra services we offer.
- We can do a Deep Clean of the lint on the inside of your Dryers.
Dryers really do lose a lot of lint inside and can definitely be a fire hazard. - We can clean out your Dryer Duct work.
- Ask us about combining the Dryer Deep Clean, Dryer Duct Cleaning and our Dryer Maintenance Agreement in to a bundle for a bit of a discount.
- We can clean out the condenser coils on your Refrigerators, Freezers, Deep Freezers.
- We can do a disinfectant cleaning maintenance on your ice makers as well.
Icemakers tend to be forgotten in terms of maintenance and can harbor a ton of mold and bacteria if not cleaned regularly.

May 1, 2024A few years ago my wife and I purchased a house. And if you've ever bought a house then you know that they go through an inspection. Our inspection had past and we were able to buy the house. However, A year after we bought the house during winter our furnace stopped working. I had called up good neighbor appliance. And he came out and took a look at my furnace. I thought that we were going to have to pay an arm and a leg to get a new furnace. After his inspection and a few calls he was able to find out that our furnace was still under warranty. All we had to do was pay for shipping, a few materials, and his labor. And he could have our furnace up and running up. I have never been so Impressed with a service call like what I've gotten with good neighbor appliance. Thank you for making sure that my wife and child have a warm house in the Winter.

November 20, 2025Sears came out to our house and was trying to charge us $900 for labor and a new element and this man came and did the same thing with labor and a new element on top of doing a thorough cleaning of the inside of our dryer ridding it of all the lint in addition to going around the back of the house and cleaning all of the lint from there as well!! I doubt sears would have done any of that for the price they were charging!! I would highly recommend him to anyone and will definitely be using him for any washer/dryer needs in the future!!!

Patrick is super friendly and does great work. We got a new dryer and realized we needed our dryer vent replaced before we could install it. With in an hour of my inital call Patrick came by to do an estimate and two days later he came out to replace the vent. 2 hours later he had replaced the vent, cleaned out the outside flap, and installed my dryer. The best part was he charged a lot less than I expected. It was great working with someone who lives in the area and I didn't have to pay extra for someone to drive to Sanford to fix my dryer vent. Highly recommend him. He will give you his honest recommendation and will charge a fair amount! I will definitely be giving in a call for any future dryer or appliance issues.

February 18, 2025For over a year my washing machine was vibrating and bouncing all over the place when it would spin the water out. So many times I would have to hold it to keep it from vibrating. When I moved it to where I live now I was hoping it was the floor and it would run right but no it was worse. My sister recommended Good Neighbor Appliance and Patrick came out to look at it. He wasn’t here and looked at it but for about 5 minutes and knew exactly what it was. He was going to order the parts but he went to Fuquay-Varina the next day and stopped in the parts store and picked them up. He came over shortly after he got the parts and those were exactly the parts my washer needed. It took him about an hour to get them on and it worked like a charm. His price was reasonable. he was respectful of my home. since it had been raining today .he left his shoes by the front door. so he wouldn't track dirt and mud in side my home. he has a very pleasant personality. I personally would recommend him to a friend. and I will definitely be using him again in the future since I don't plan on buying any new appliances in near or distant future.
